V-103 Radio Personality Doug Banks
Lends a Hand to Youth

Banks Pledges Support for Chicago's Jobs For Youths

CHICAGO, IL. (June 17, 2008) – It makes the headlines everyday. Teens shooting other teens. A tough job market for the summer. Out-of-school, out-of-work young adults. And Doug Banks wants to help.

Clear Channel Radio Chicago's V-103 Radio Personality Doug Banks was the special guest at Jobs For Youth's (JFY) annual fundraiser Jazz For Youth on May 3rd. There, he pledged to lend his support and help get the word out about the programs and services at Jobs For Youth. Now, Banks is touring Jobs For Youth on Thursday, June 19th @11:00 a.m. to see firsthand how Jobs For Youth impacts the lives of Chicago's low-income 17-24 year olds looking for a job.

"We are excited that Doug Banks has embraced our mission. We have jobs for Chicago's young adults and having Doug involved will allow us to reach out into the community and tell Chicago that we are here to help," says JFY Executive Director Robert Barnett.

Doug Banks and Robert Barnett are available for interviews.
